Blister packaging

1、 Introduction to Packaging

Since people began to produce and manufacture products gradually, they could not do without packaging materials, from the most traditional paper packaging to wood packaging, and then to foam packaging, metal packaging, plastic packaging and other materials. In fact, the purpose of packaging is very simple, to solve the protection problems of products during processing, transportation, sales, and use. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of social progress and people’s requirements, packaging not only needs to solve the problem of product protection, but also raises the issue of packaging aesthetics. Now let me briefly introduce the advantages of plastic blister packaging compared to other packaging.

2、 How to understand vacuum packaging

Blister packaging refers to the use of vacuum forming technology to adsorb heated plastic sheets onto molds, cool them down, and cut off excess edges to form a plastic product that can be used to store products. Blister packaging can be divided into thin sheet blister packaging and thick sheet blister packaging based on the difference in machine equipment and the thickness of the formed sheet. Generally, the thickness below 1.5mm is called thin sheet blister packaging. Thin film vacuum packaging is generally used to store electronic components, daily necessities, vegetables and fruits, small mechanical parts, etc., and generally stores lighter items. Thick sheet vacuum packaging is generally used to store automotive parts, large mechanical parts, tool components, etc., which usually store heavier items.

At present, vacuum formed packaging can not only be used in the turnover storage and logistics transportation process of product production, but also more products directly adopt vacuum formed packaging in the terminal sales process.
