The main classification of blister covers or blisters
- Classified by material thickness, it can be divided into
A、 Ordinary thin vacuum molded products with a thickness of 0.14-5.0m are mainly made of various materials and effects such as PVCPPPS (HIPS) PET (including APET and PETG), PE BOP, recyclable paper pallets, etc. They are non thermoformed vacuum molded products such as folded edges, half folds, three folds, cylinders, folding boxes, heaven and earth boxes, high-frequency boxes, etc., and are widely used in industries such as food, medicine, electronics, toys, computers, daily necessities, cosmetics, and mechanical hardware.

B、 The special thick blister thickness is 0.14-8.0mm… mainly using PVCPRPS (HIPS) PET (including APET and PETG), ABS, PCPE, PMM and other injection molded vacuum products with various materials and effects. The main products include refrigerator liners, advertising light boxes, product display racks, pet cage chassis, rear projection TV shells, and various mechanical panels, which can replace injection molded products. They have the characteristics of low mold cost (only 1/20 of injection molded molds), short production cycle, and short mold development time (usually only 3-5 days). The reason why we do not classify materials based on their types is mainly because there are some differences between the materials used in ordinary thin vacuum molding and special thick vacuum molding, but PVCPP PS and PET have a place in both types of vacuum molded products, making them the “Four Heavenly Kings” of the material family for vacuum molded products!

PVC hard sheets have moderate toughness and are not easy to burn. When burned, chlorine gas is produced, which has a certain impact on the environment, PVC is easy to heat seal and can be sealed with sealing machines and high-frequency machines. It is the main raw material for producing transparent vacuum molded products.
PS hard sheets have low density, poor toughness, are prone to combustion, and produce styrene gas (a harmful gas) during combustion, so they are generally used to produce various industrial vacuum pallets.
PET hard sheets have good toughness, high transparency, are easy to burn, and do not produce harmful gases during combustion. They are environmentally friendly materials, but they are expensive and suitable for high-end vacuum molded products. Generally, vacuum molded foam shells in European and American countries require the use of PETPET hard sheets, but they are not easy to heat seal, which brings great difficulties to packaging. To solve this problem, people composite a layer of PVC film on the surface, named PETG hard sheets, but the price is higher.
PVC sheet is a widely used and popular material, PVC film can be divided into two types: food grade and industrial grade, and can be made into various transparent, colored, anti-static, gold-plated, flocked and other materials for vacuum molding. Its main characteristics are high transparency, good surface gloss, few crystal points, small water marks, wide use, strong impact resistance, and easy molding. The produced products comply with the food hygiene standards of the US FDA and Japan PL, and are widely used for outer packaging of toys, food, electronic products, medicine, electrical appliances, gifts, cosmetics, stationery and other products.
